[CLOSED] Existing Pull Print Queues not installing on client workstations

Background: Prior to this week’s Xerox Workplace Cloud update, Pull Print Queues were called Custom Driver Printers and configured in the Custom Drivers tab.

The latest update has migrated these Custom Driver Printers to the Queues tab in the Settings-> Desktop Printing-> Queues section. Currently, there is a software defect that has resulted in some of the migrated Custom Driver Printers to no longer have a driver associated with the print queue. This results in the queue not being able to be successfully deployed.



Please use the following workaround while development determines a permanent fix for the migrated queues.



  • In Xerox Workplace cloud, go to Account-> Settings-> Desktop Printing-> Queues
  • Find the Pull Print Queue that is not being deployed and click on it to get to the properties page
  • Click “Save”
  • The Pull Print Queue should now deploy successfully
