End of Support for TLS Encryption version 1.0/1.1

Xerox Workplace Cloud Azure Components will disable all TLS 1.0/1.1 encryption support in favor of TLS 1.2. This will include all web, API integration or browser data transmission to Xerox Workplace Cloud

Planned Effective Date: October 24th, 2020 - Extended to November 7th, 2020 

Date Support Ends for TLS 1.0 and 1.1 in XWC Cloud: October 24th, 2020 - Extended to November 7th, 2020 

Description of Change: TLS 1.0/1.1 is being replaced by TLS 1.2.

Impacted Offerings/ Regions: All regions

Impact to Support: If support is needed for TLS 1.0/1.1 the partner/client will be asked to upgrade to TLS 1.2.


XWC Components Impacted

  • XWC – Agent – All Versions below 4.0.322.0
  • XWC – Windows Client – All Versions below 5.2.87
  • XWC – MAC Client – All Versions below 1.1 (88)
  • Xerox EIP Printers running @PrintByXerox – Please see the attached for the minimum firmware required for each model and the recommended version

Action to Take:  Partners and Xerox (such as Pre-Sales personnel, Service Delivery, Existing Accounts): Educate customers using the FAQ document and ensure all impacted components of XWC listed and the Xerox EIP Printers running @PrintByXerox are on at least the minimum firmware version listed in the attached documents: “Active EIP XWC Devices and TLS 1.2.xlsx”
