The Oslo Agent is still shown as associated with the printer. Did you do the step to delete it? On the page that you showed below, click on the box next to the Oslo Agent, then use the Actions menu to delete/remove it from the printer. It should no longer show up in the Agent sub-tab of the printer after doing that. Then do a repair action.
Hi,
thanks for reply, however it doesnt help, even after I excluded 10.2.1.155 printer from norwegian Agent its still set as authentication agent. I also changed the IP address in Convenience Authentication Setup on printer settings from Norwegian agent to Polish but after repairing the printer it returns the old IP address.
Hi,
I would start by removing the IP address(es) of the Polish printers from the Norwegian Agent discovery settings. Then run a discovery cycle on the Norwegian Agent. After it's complete, use the XWC portal to to the Pritners tab, select the printer in question and go the Agent sub-tab of that printer. The Norwegian Agent line item should no longer show as active. Click the box next to the Norwegian Agent and use the Action drop down to remove it from that printer. Finally, do a repair on the printer to correct the authentication settings.
Repeat the above for any other printers that should be corrected.
Regards
Hi all,
we are currently using two agents to manage our printers (norway and poland), the problem is that polish printers use norwegian agent for authentication when trying to change the agent ip in the printer settings the device still uses the norwegian agent instead of the polish one. Can you provide the correct way to change it?
