The identity of the user of the Connect for OneDrive app is controlled by the app and not the XWC solution. The app currently uses "EIP User" for all of its jobs, even if a user is logged into the printer via XWC or some other interface (network authentication, smartcard authentication, etc). If the printer is restricted to only allow authenticated users to print, then the jobs coming from the app will be blocked. I have passed along your issue to the App team so that they might consider modifying the App behavior in the future to use the identify of the logged on user.
I appologive for not having a more agreeable suggestion to work around this issue.

Is the printer locked and requires authentication to access the UI? If yes, I would recommend checking: Properties > Login/Permissions/Accounting > User Permissions > User Permission Roles (Edit). Check the non-logged in user Edit link. Has someone modified the "When Users Can Print" setting for Color or Black & White? Is it set to "Never"? If yes, try changing it to "Always".
Hi,
We're getting a mysterious error when using any SSO application togeather with XWC. Each time we print from an application (such as Scan to Onedrive, from the printer itself), the print isn't printed and instead we get an error page stating that the "EIP User" doesn't have permissions to print, print certain job types, nor have permission to print from a certain tray.
Does anyone know what might cause this error? The machine (C8135) is freshly installed, and nothing apart from the machine activation has been done (of course with the required setting in the XWC admin portal). Printing using the XWC driver (via the client) from any PC etc. works just fine.
