End of Support for TLS Encryption version 1.0/1.1 in Xerox Workplace Suite (usage of the Workplace App is only affected) Azure components
Planned Effective Date: October 24th, 2020
Xerox Workplace Suite Azure components will disable all TLS 1.0/1.1 encryption support in favor of TLS 1.2. This decision is based on industry known vulnerabilities in TLS 1.0/1.1, which can compromise confidentiality and integrity of data transmissions in our hosted tools.
Action to Take: For Partners and Xerox (such as Pre-Sales personnel, Service Delivery, Existing Accounts): For any XWS deployments below 4.1.5.23 which are using the Xerox Workplace Apps for mobile printing they should upgrade to a more recent version of XWS. Failure to upgrade will result in the inability to alter the mobile apps workflow configuration on the XWS server. For XWS deployments not leveraging the Xerox Workplace App they will be unaffected by this server change but will not be able to enable the Mobile Print Workflow until they upgrade.
