I am setting up to upgrade v.220.127.116.11 and the instructions say to Backup the Current Internal Database. I do not have a Backup and Restore option under Company - Maintenance - Backup and Restore to perform this procedure. Is there something that needs to be enabled?

• Because new installations use an SQL Express 2014/2017 database.
To manage the SQL database, use the Microsoft SQL Management Studio software or a similar
tool to backup your database.
Yes, I saw that in the upgrade instructions. So the backup of the database would only be usable if you had to re-install the origional version for some reason? There is no way to restore the data from the 5.4 database backup to the 5.6 version? Thanks
In most cases you could install a newer versions of the XWS software using a database that had a older version installed. The software take that into consideration when you install it.
This may not work if you point to a XPMMS 4.x or earlier database.
