There is no a way to do this via the XWS solution.  If you are printing using network queues, you could add firewall rules to the printer(s) to prevent printing (e.g. via ports 515, 9100) from any IP address(es) other than from the print server(s).

Disable direct print

Hello all!

We have several Versalink C7020 and use Xerox Workplace Suite for control of printed documents of out users and receiving statistics.

But there is users who install printer manually, using Xerox Smart Start. And they can print directrly to printer without authentification. So XWS don't know who print documents.

How we can disable directly print and not break XWS?
