Re: Long lasting authorization by card

I don't know if you are a Xerox person, a customer or someone from Partner / Reseller organization.  But you would pick whichever makes the most sense:

Xerox Support - You are Xerox employee

Partner Support- You are an employee of a Partner / Reseller of Xerox products and solutions.

Customer Support - Your are a customer of Xerox products and solutions.

Hi Dmitry,

I think it would be best to submit this via the support path, as it will require investigation by the support team to see where the detail is happening.  Please submit your issue using the below link:

Long lasting authorization by card

Hi everybody, XWS v.5.7.1.18 with 3 Versalink C7020 worked OK for one+ year, then the server has crashed. The IT guys have restored all the software from backup and everythig works OK now except one thing.

When the user swipes his card nothing happens for 15 seconds. Then there's "Wait" on the display and after 5 seconds XWS icon appears. If user use his pin code there's no 15 second delay. All 3 printers have the same 15 seconds delay after card swipe.

I've checked the printer's settings - Keep USB  Ports Awake is On.

I've Repaired one printer in XWS web interface (Printers/Actions/Repair) - it doesn't help.

What else should I do to aviod this annoying delay?
