From time to time absolutely randomly MFP gets a "Printer Status: Unknown" error message in Workplace Suite. After this message, MFP starts to work very slowly, and some functions don't work (Scan, Copy via app). There is only one solution - factory reset and enrollment from the scratch. This operation is very time-consuming and we want to find another way how to solve the problem.

Affected MFPs: Xerox VersaLink C7020 and Xerox VersaLink B7025
The status is based on our solution querying the printer via SNMP to get these MIB objects: HrDeviceStatus, HrPrinterStatus and HrPrinterDetectedErrorState. Based on the value of these objects we may indicate that there is an issue with the device. I would recommend looking at the WebUI of printer, which would have more details on specific error conditions and how that can be addressed. Based on the specific error, I think you can likely do a more focused action to the correct issue instead of factory resetting the device.
