Hi Dave - 

The license is based on the MAC address of the system, so once you migrate to the new server- it will have a new MAC address and hence your old license becomes void.

Workplace suite server migration

Moving to a new server.  I need to expire the old license so that I can apply it to the new server and I am not finding a way to do it.  Activatation portal only lets me retrieve the current license.  Using the serial number and activation key on the new server only produces an error.  Can anyone inform me of what is necessary to accomplish this??
