Our partner's customer has installed (yesterday) the latest version of Xerox Workplace Suite.
After the upgrade, "quest user" can see his jobs, but can't release them - window is grayed out. (ID: firstname.lastname@example.org - please see attached picture).
Any thoughts why is this?
XWS New version 5.6.x.
Quest user account was created AFTER the upgrade.
Is this problem occurring for all users or just this one user?
Does it happen on all printers or just this one printer?
The jobs shown in the picture are mobile jobs. Is this printer enabled for the mobile print workflow?
Another guest user created by customer - no change to behaviour. Work is still gryed out.
Othervise everything is working as expected - communication is ok, login in is ok, but print job is still grayed out.
print job have been sent using e-mail: email@example.com
Only Mobile license in use within XWC.
No APP's in use.
Need is to simply allow printing for visitors using e-mail address : firstname.lastname@example.org
Every visitor has / will be created own e-mail address and they get RFID-tag.
As said login for vistors works, but print job release dosen't.
Is the Mobile Print option enabled on the given device. If you go to the Printers tab, and select the name of the Printer, then the Features tab, the box next to Mobile Print needs to selected. (See attached)
The problem still exist even our partners (CCSS) analyst has examined a lot of efforts to fix this problem.
However, I afraid there is a problem with purcheased licenses - please see attached picture. I thinks there is one license less to get two devices working as intented.
But, the analyst also sent me some log-files for you to examine and give your opinion what is the problem.
Please find them attached. There is two MFP's on site: AL C80xx and VL C405.
