Whom do we email to get a copy of this document? I am interesting in investigating this setup as well.

Thanks.

The link is accessible only to Xerox personnel and partners. Please send an email and reference this forum post. We will email you a copy of the advanced analyst guide.

In reference to your question, yes, you would need two separate servers, each running the XWS software, as well as an external SQL DB that both servers at pointing to.

Re: can we have two workplace suite servers for redundancy? in the event of failure of a server?

Yes, you can have 2 XWS servers that are sitting behind a load balancer.  This topic is covered in the Advanced Analyst Guide on SmartCentre:

https://s3s.smartcentre.xerox.com/xerox-product-master/office-workflow/office-workflow/cost-control-...

Refer to the Scalability section of the above document.

You will need to have an external SQL DB that both servers can connect to.

Also looks at the Load Balancer configuration section.

can we have two workplace suite servers for redundancy? in the event of failure of a server? we have a large building where we have over 20 Atalalink, if we have a server crash we will lose the workplace suite server. I would like to know if we can install a secondary server that would take over?

thanks
