A connectkey app that pushes new button to device panel?

Hi, there:

           Is it possible for us to create a connectkey app that adds new button to MFP panel? The original conneck key app is like an installer and generates link which the newly created app uses to redirect. We have the original app and url links already, but not sure how to push new buttons to device panel with the link.
