App Gallery Invitation stuck validating

I have sent an invitaion to the client and the status remains as validating. What does this mean and how can the invitation be resent?  The client does not seem to have access to the emails that were sent previously to complete the steps. 

The result, we are not able to share the app and complete the Xerox install.

Have they clicked the  “Register Affiliate ID” button. That is how their account is verified.
