Hello, Permagrin.

Hello.
I am in the same situation here.
I can tell you right now that those will not work.
An API key for Box MUST exist. It is issued to all Box.com devs.
This number is required to whitelist an app.
Without this API Key, the app is useless.
Hello.
Thank you for your message.
We do not have an API key for the Box App. I would recommend trying to whitelist either "XeroxConnectkeyforCloud1_0" or "*.services.xerox.com". Please let me know if either of those options work for you.
Thank you,

I'm looking for the same thing. I need the API Key in order to Whitlist it in the Box admin console
Where do you see these client ID's?
In my Box account under security I just get the generic XeroxConnectkeyforCloud1_0, is that what you are referring to?
I dug around on Box's forum and found no references to "Client ID"
It just appears to end up getting you to where I already showed above.
I couldn't find anything on Android either
Can you please clarify what the Client ID is and how it can be found on things other than our printers? I can access Box from iOS, Android, web browser and the Windows 10 app, I just can't find a Client ID.
The Box app is installed on our Xerox 7830. When loggin in at the control panel we get an error saying it is unable to log in, which we expect because our Box deployment is locked down. In order for third party Box apps to communicate with our enterprise deployment we have to whitelist the app within the Box admin console. We have done this for various app that integrate with Box by whitelisting the "Client_ID" value each app uses.
Quite simply we just need to know what "Client_ID" you are using for your app.
Hello, R_Williams.
Sorry for the delay.
We are curious if you are getting an error when you are attempting to connect to the Box app. If yes, can you tell us what the error is, please?
Also, can you Whitelist other Xerox Apps/servers? Just wondering if the Box app, specifically, is causing trouble.
Are there any other attributes (other than Client_ID) that you have used in the past to Whitelist a solution?
Thank you!
Hello, R_Williams.
We are looking into the information that you will need to allow the Xerox Print and Scan App to integrate with your Box Account.
We will post an update here as soon as we have more information.
Thanks!
Our organisation filters which applications can integrate with our Box account by whitelisting API keys.
Does anyone know how i can find the "client_id" value for the Xerox print / scan to box app in order to add it to the whitelist?
Thanks
