Any update on whether we can access Google Docs from the app?
Currently it is still planned for 2019 but i do not have a firm date.
The Connect for Google Drive app and/or the custom Google Drive apps do not currently support Google Docs. They will be greyed out and not selectable at the device. We are working on a resolution for this that should be available in the first quarter of 2019.

any updates on the ability to print google docs, sheets, etc?
thanks for the quick reply. i've subscribed to this thread so please update.
Hello.
Thank you for the post.
Support for Google Docs has actually been added to the app, but we have a couple known issues that we are working through. We have a couple releases planned over the next couple of months. The fixes should be included in those releases. I can keep you updated on the status here.
In the meantime, I'd like to offer a workaround. If GoogleDocs are exported and reuploaded to Google Drive they can then be printed at the device. I know this is not ideal, but it may help for the short term until the issues have been resolved.

Is there an update for when we can expect the Google Drive app to support Google files (docs, sheets, etc)? You mentioned an update target date of first quarter of 2019.
This functionality should absolutely be included as part of a paid subscription to Google Drive app connector.
Hi, EastCoastRob!
That's good news!
I'm glad that the issue with printing is resolved.
Thank you!

Hello, EastcoastRob.
Thank you for the message.
We aren't seeing similar issues here. I am able to select and print .doc, docx, xls, xlsx, tiff, pdf, .ppt, etc.. files. Files that I'm not allowed to select, cannot be printed at the device or are files that I do not have permission to access, are not selectable/are greyed out. A couple exmaples of file formats that cannot be printed are; .msg, .mpp, zip file.

Back to your failed print error, though, you mentioned that this same file successfully prints from other apps. Does it also successfully print on other devices (ie; ConnectKey or VersaLink devices)? Would you be willing to share the file privately (xerox.app.gallery.feedback@xerox.com) so that we can investigate the issue further?

When I scroll tthrough the list of docs on in Google Drive through the Print section of the app on the my AltaLink C8070 many are greyed out, even MS doc types, and when I try to print an available MS doc or xks it throws an error. This does not seem to happen in other apps.
