Hello. 

The Info App designer will keep the same aspect ratio for your image when resizing it to adjust for the different layouts.  If you were to use a square image, it would not look stretched in the app/at the device.  It will look the same as the image that was uploaded, only larger or smaller based on the design selected.  Please note though, when using a square image there will be space on each side of the image. 

Larger image dimensions will work best.  Smaller dimension images could be a challenge.  They won't scale-up very well.  I would recommend not using images with dimensions smaller than 800x480 pixels.  If you are using a square image, keep the dimensions around 800x800 pixels.  

The App designer has a Preview My App button near the bottom of the screen.  After you have designed your Info App, you can select this button and the App Gallery will show you how the app will appear at the device.  The Preview is quite accurate, so you can be confident in the look and feel of the app before you select the Create button.

but i think it will be good for us to know the dimension for full image or half ( layout options)

if i put a square image it will streched? 

for example, it will be helpfull to keep tha image without streched and cover full screen.

Thank you for the message. 

The only restriction on images selected when creating Info Apps is the overall size.  The image cannot be over 1MB. 

The App Gallery site will resize the image based on the layout selected.  Number of Pixels and length and width dimensions of the image are not restricted when creating the Info App.  

The statements above are true for any of the Info App layout options offered.

hello Team,

i want to ask you about new apps,

i want to create new app for example an info app.

i can select the layout (text/image vertical or horigontial) or only image.

where i can find info like image dimension in every layout?

for example ifi selecte only image, the only info i get is about the format and the total size! 

nothing about hte dimension or pixels

could you help me?

it will be usefulll to get that info not only for my example app but in any case of layout!
