We have now disabled SNMPv1/v2 because of security...

Hello.  

You are correct. 

Unfortunately, support for SNMP v3 did not make it into the latest release.  The feature was moved to a future release.  I do not have an outlook for when this might be available yet, but I will share this post with the Program team so that they are aware of our customer feedback.

Hello. 

 

The updated release has not launched yet.  It's expected to be available a bit later this year (roughly around end of third quater - beginning for fourth quater). 

The next relase does include support for SMNP v3.

Hello. 

 

The current version of App Studio does not support SNMP v3.  We are designing and developing an update to the site that will be released later this year.  The release update will add support for SNMP v3.

Does Xerox Studio App work using only SMNP V3?

Our security department is asking to disable SNMP V1/2 and only use V3.  Can printers using studio app still be managed from the console under SNMP V3?
