I've been experiencing some frustrating issues with my Ethernet adapter. It keeps disconnecting and reconnecting intermittently, causing disruptions in my internet connection. I'm hoping to get some insights from the community regarding the common causes and possible solutions for this problem. Here are a few details:
The issue started happening recently, and it's been quite inconsistent.
I've checked my network adapters in the Device Manager, and the Ethernet adapter is selected.
I've also looked into the Power Management tab and made sure that the option to "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is unchecked.
I've noticed that this problem occurs even when I'm not playing games or using high-bandwidth applications.
I live in a household with multiple devices connected to the network, but I haven't noticed any issues with Wi-Fi connectivity.
I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or experiences you can share regarding this issue. Have any of you encountered similar problems with intermittent disconnects? If so, what were the common causes you discovered? And what solutions have you tried that were successful in resolving the problem?
