launching any app from app gallery seeing message of "error. Failed to connect to remote service

Please advise on what antivirus/proxy exceptions need to be made for the app gallery.  Customer is able to install the apps, but when they launch them, it is not giving them the login screen for credentials.  I assume it is using only port 443 and 80. Are they used in conjunction or is it based on how the printer is configured?
