Hi, Juan.
My apologies for the delay.
I do have a couple suggestions that may allow the AltaLink devices to print. There are a couple device settings that could be adjusted.
The first setting to check is the Allow Open Access to Job Information. Make sure that this option is enabled. You can access this setting through the device Centreware Internet Services page.
Open an Internet browser and type in the device IP address
Log in as the device admin
Click the Properties tab
Select Printing under the Apps section
Select the Printing Web Service option
Scroll the page to locate the Allow Open Access to Job Information
Select the checkbox to enable the option and save your changes.
Try another print from this device. It printing still is not working, continue on to next suggestion.
The other items that you should check are on the Accounting Methods page.
Select the Login/Accounting/Permissions menu option
Select the Accounting Methods option
Locate the Validation Policies / Print Job Exceptions option and select the Edit link
One the next page, select Yes, with Exceptions under the Validate Accounting Code (User ID) option
Enable all of the options under this section.
Try another print. If printing still is not working with Xerox Standard Accounting on, please let me know and I will look for another option to try.
Thank you,

Hi, Juan.
Thank you for the post.
You are correct. The 'Connect for' apps do not support Accounting. The app version prior to 3.1.1 also did not support Accounting. Would you be able to share device Config Reports for one of the AltaLink (one that fails to print) and one of the VersaLink (one where printing is successful) devices from the customer, please?
In the meantime, I will investigate here. I will repost when I have additional information to share.
Thank you,

Hello there.
I'm a Xerox Software Support agent from Dublin, Ireland.
A customer is notifying us that Version 3.1.1 (free) of the Connect to Google Drive, Connect to Dropbox, Connect to OneDrive, Connect to Office365, and the new "Connect 2.0" (subscription) versions of the same apps are not using the MFDs Accounting IDs to print when using them from AltaLink or Connectkey models, irrespective of the firmware level used.
If Xerox Standard Accounting is ON on the models, anything printed from those apps will fail with "Invalid accounting IDs", even though the user must enter them prior to accessing the app. In the same models, other EIP apps such as "@printbyXerox" are working fine with Xerox Standard Accounting.
I have found previuos threads in these forums indicating that accounting is not supported for some apps from App Gallery, and also a technical document from 2016 saying the same, but this customer has several AltaLink models and they claim the apps were working before they updated them to version 3.1.1. Is this a known issue, or something that can be investigated?
Note that the same apps that fail with AltaLink models are working correctly from VersaLink models where Xerox Standard Accounting is also enabled.
