Hi!
Yes, continue to work on getting the App Studio account.
Once you have that, you should be able to install apps on the Color Cube.
Please keep us posted.
Thanks!
App Gallery. I do not have access to App Studio.
Joe,
Thank You for your help.
I have created that BOX workaround a couple weeks ago. It works, but we do have that machine logoff issue. But I could probably resolve this. I will call a tech support guy to try the wireshark idea. Also I am attempting to gain access to App Studio vs App Gallery.

Are you trying to install the apps. via App Studio or App Gallery?
Please let me know. There is a difference with the apps.
Thanks!
Well, bad news.
I found this in the support site for App Studio:
The particular ConnectKey App (.weblet file) is then be saved to the folder used for downloads for the browser.
When an App is saved to a folder from the Xerox App Studio, it must then be installed from the device’s Control Panel or CentreWare IS, and will no longer be able to be installed from App Studio. If a copy of the App is made using Save As, the copy can then be installed via App Studio.
Which means it will be impossible for me to create you an app for Box, or get one to you by this forum.
So App Gallery can't work on your 8900, App studio apps work as long as they are to go local and not to dropbox/box etc, for that you need access to App studio to push it to your device, I can't get you that, and since I don't have the device in question, I also can't guarantee it would then install (That may be what you were trying when this whole support post started for all I know)
Joe,
Your weblet installed from the online interface. No issues.
Jason
Alright, I am told that it may be possible, so let's give that a test.
I got myself access to App Studio and created a Box weblet yet could not export it, got fed up and created a random app for this test of your device.
Since I don't have access to a device, I can't actually do the testing myself though.
So that is where you come in. I am attaching a zip file, within it is a Weblet that does nothing really.
If it will install, then we might be able to get a Box weblet for you, but if it won't, I think we can confirm the device won't do it.
So grab the zip, extract it and see if it will install. (Works for sure on Connectkey 7855/7970/5855/5955/7225
If it will install I will try and figure out why App Studio refuses to allow me to save a Box app Weblet.
To XAS-Moderator, I created 2 apps and immediately it would not give a save option for the BOX one (Never installed or did anything to it), I also tried every single previously created Box apps by other users to find the same issue
I'm now conferring with the support team for the product in question, it appears that it may not be changeable, either by intention or by bug. Not sure when I will get an answer. Try in the meantime using the back USB, and also without the 2 other files in the folder, and maybe with it all in caps instead of lower case.
But I think TonyP is right, the app gallery and therefore all its apps will not work.
Just bumping the last post, i think it got missed.
Joe,
Not sure. Here is a link to two photos. One is at the Machine Status > Tools > Network Settings . The next one is the screen that comes up when you press USB Settings.
Thanks
Jason
