I just created a simple Scan to Email App wth Xerox App Studio and have tried preselecting an address, entering an address, and selecting from a list. I have tried multiple email addresses to no avail. Normal scan to email on the machine works fine. The App Studio EIP App, however, gives an error "failure: No To Address" and refuses to send.
Attached is the SMTP Transfer Report that prints when I try to do a scan to email with this EIP app.
Hi Im not able to reproduce this issue even when I don't configure an email as TO: Address and use the default scan settings. Is the issue consistent? Do you get the error with one email address configured or multiple emails? What are the scan settings? This is important as the job ticket may be getting corrupted and the reason you are not seeing the issue with the device native app.

I have tried multiple addresses, single address, address entered manually, address preselected from a list, and addresses selected from the list. They all give me the same thing. I am attaching two files to help with this. One is a word doc with screenshots of the scan-to-email eip app on the copier along with the error. The other is a clone file from one of the machines with the issue. I have tried it on two machines now. This particular one is a WC 7835 with the .05000 SPAR installed. The other is a 7845 with similar setup.
Follow these steps:
1. Edit the app
2. Don't change anything but the name of the app.
3. on the last step Select "Save As"
4. Select the gear menu on the newly created app
5. The save option should be displayed.
It only grays it out once you've installed or saved it out of XAS.
Now if I could only fix it at my end. I have salesmen out there telling customers we can use this and I have yet to make it work.
