Re: Scan to email License error?

Hi Tony, I was able to recreate this issue on an 8700XF (fw v. .15500).  The error 'Weblet is not licensed" only came up once after an alt-boot.  The App worked fine thereafter.  BTW, I didn't have to update the default SSL Certificates. Development is looking into the issue. Thanks for reporting the issue.

Re: Scan to email License error?

Hi Tony -

I"m trying to recreate the issue you encountered.  Can you please clarify what you mean by "..once I regenerated the SSL certificate"?  I'd like to ensure I'm following the exact same steps. Thanks in advance!

Re: Scan to email License error?

After another Alt-boot to the latest SPAR software. I still had the issue. However, I finally figured out it was the SSL certificate that was automatically generated by the software load that caused the issue. Once I regenerated the SSL certificate and reinstalled the email app, it worked fine. I don't know why all of the other apps worked except for the email app but at least I figured out what went wrong.

Re: Scan to email License error?

I have not had the chance to try another device yet. Once I do, I'll post here.

Re: Scan to email License error?

Tony, I'm not able to make a copy of the app as the logs indicate the app was deleted.  Please let us know if you are still facing the same issue with a newly created app or on a different device.  Thanks!

Re: Scan to email License error?

Tony,

Have you tried installing a different device? If so, do you get the same error?  I will try making a copy of your app and will give it a try.

Re: Scan to email License error?

I get the error after I hit start and the app was installed with App Studio. When this did not work the first time, I uninstalled the app and reinstalled, then I uninstalled and deleted the App from App Studio. Then I created a new App. I get the error no matter what.

Re: Scan to email License error?

This is odd!  The Scan to Email App is FREE and does not require a license. When does the License Error come up?  Is it when the app is launched or when you select "Start"?  How did you install the newly created Scan to Email App?  Was it via Xerox App Studio or CWIS?  If CWIS, can you please try installing the app from XAS and try the app again?

Scan to email License error?

The hard drive on my 89xx failed and the device was alt-booted to CK 1.0. I've since upgraded to the CK1.5 release build but I can't get the scan to email app to work any longer. I get an error stating, "Weblet is not licensed." I upgraded to the latest SPAR software (.05100) but that did not resolve the issue either.

I've deleted the app and reloaded as well as created a new Scan to Email app but It will won't work.

Any thoughts?
