user is not permitted

I try to login with my account (rsdrisco) and it says "User is not permitted." I am trying to replicate a customer issue and do not want to login with the support admin account. I want to login as a regular user (which I am listed as a regular user). So why can't I login as user rsdrisco? Note: I tried resetting password, but the email link sends me to Xerox App Gallery to reset that password, not to Xerox App Studio.

There was a brief outage today for a patch upgrade. You may have been attempting to access the site during that time. I was able to successfully login just now with both a regular user and Admin account. Sorry for any inconvenience. Please give it another try.

Still not working for me. Same error.

 

If I put random info into the login I get a login error. so it isn't bad account info.

Hi, Joe. You're still seeing the error when you attempt to login to App Studio using a corresponding App Studio Reseller or subaccount? I was think that the error was generated during the upgrade, but it doesn't sound like that's the case. Would you mind sharing your UserID and we will check into both of the issues here. Thanks!

Thank you, Joe! Do you have accounts for both the Xerox App Gallery and App Studio? I see that the UserID shared is for a Xerox App Gallery account, but I did not find a separate account for App Studio. The App Studio requires a separate login.

Apparently not then, odd it doesn't say login failed if that is the case since I do get login failed if I put anything that is known bad information, where when I use my very specific login credentials I get the user is not permitted notice.

 

I will have my manager get me access again since I need it for 2nd level testing as well as my forum work, twitter work, facebook and spiceworks work.

Hi, Joe. Thank you for working through this with us late on Friday. I'm glad that we could determine what had happened. I hope that you had a great weekend as well. Hi, rsdrisco. I'm wondering if the same is true for you. Do you have accounts for both the Xerox App Gallery and App Studio? The (rsdrisco) UserID is associated with a Gallery Account. Do you also have a separate account to log into App Studio? Thank you!

Yes, that fixed my problem.. I created a reseller user in Xerox App Gallery. I thought I went through and created a reseller account while logged in as admin3, but I checked my user in Xerox App Studio and it was the Xerox App Gallery user account. Thanks!
