you can use your mobile camera to scan a document and send it to your Xerox MFP no matter where you are. What makes this so impressive is that the resulting document can be fully manageable, just like if you had scanned it using your printer. In other words, you’re doing more than simply taking a picture of the document.
At this time, there is no XSA ability in the application (Xerox Mobile Link)
It also does not exist in Airprint (Apple) or MOPRIA.
When XSA is enabled for any service, it also turns itself on for anything Custom as can be seen here:
Take note, that the same icon is there for all types of service. The reason being that the MFP has absolutely no way to know what 3rd party, or remote applications are doing, so if you have a machine set to track only copies, it will not track scan to email/mailbox or workflow scanning, but it will track scan to dropbox, because the printer has no idea what the dropbox app from the new App Gallery does. So it will fail it. And this is how it will stay, especially know that 3rd parties can just make their own apps and put them in the new App Gallery fo...
So , now that you have made it here, and hopefully understand the Why. I will redirect you to here. Pay no attention to the title, just follow the steps and you should be able to get it to work around the issue. Final decision is up to you.
If your printer is a Connectkey device and you want to use the App Gallery, grab the Firmware from the drivers and downloads page on Xerox.com for your printer (Starts with 073 and has Automatic Upgrade in the title).
