Re: Definiative Guide for Setting up EIP Mobile print on Actual Xerox MFP's?

Make sure these settings are enabled on your Xerox printer:

  1. Extensible Service Setup:
    1. HTTPS must be on. (Which means the time/date needs to be correct to within 3 minutes)
    2. Extensible Service:
      • Device Configure
      • Extensible Service Registration
      • Digital Certificate Management
      • Session Data
      • Authentication & Authorization Configuration
    3. Enable the Extensible Service Browser.
    4. Verify Server Certificate is OFF (if you do not have a third-party trusted certificate)
    5. Extensible Service>Proxy Server:
      • If a Proxy is enabled on your printer, make sure you add the Mobile Print Solution’s Host Name to the printer’s Bypass Proxy Rules list. The Mobile Print Solution’s Host Name can be found by selecting Company > Workflows > Printer Clients > General Settings > Application Host Name.

For CK devices you shouldn't have to change anything to install it.  The one exception is the proxy if it's not automatically configured.

For other devices well that's complicated depending how far back you're asking about and firmwares.

Definiative Guide for Setting up EIP Mobile print on Actual Xerox MFP's?

I'm looking for a list of all the settings that are required on an MFP that need to be turned on/off enabled/disabled/configured so that when I try to install the mobile print icon and functionality to an MFP that they are there.

If I've missed the page when I RTFM, then apologies please let me know which page it's on.

Thanks.
