Thanks for the response. This is very helpful advice.
Hi,
First I would recomend you upgrade to Mobile Print 3.6, which can be downloaded from xerox.com. This release has the latest fixes. Changing to office 365 is fully supported and should work fine. Here are some notes that I have on connecting to Office 365.
Incoming Email and Outgoing Email settings are similar, so only Incoming Email are below.
Incoming Email:
Server Information
1. Turn Auto Discover Off
2. Server Address: https://outlook.office365.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx
3. Receiving Email Address: Office 365 Email address
Login Information
1. Domain Name: USe the domain from the office 365 email address, the part after the "@".
2. Username: Use office 365 email address
3. Password: Use Office 365 Password
Thanks,
XMP Admin.
Thanks for the response. We are not moving to new server actually. We have a mobileprint email account that is still on our prem server. We want to move that over to Office 365. The email is still the same. We are hybrid environment. I heard there might be issues with mobileprint if I migrate it over. I just wanted to check if there is any step.
Obviously you would need to configure Mobile Print with the new server and email address to check for print jobs.
And have the new jobs sent to said new email account.
You would essentially be starting over again.
Hi,
I have a XeroxMobilePrint mailbox that is still residing on our Prem Exchange Server. I want to migrate it over to Office 365 mailbox. I want to know if that will cause any issues with the Mobile print service. The version is 3.0.115.55. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
