If you wish to print from iOS devices AirPrint is one of the best source. This service requires your device to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as an AirPrint-compatible printer.
If you are Google Android devices users, you can take advantage of Google's Cloud Print service.
The 6015 is an older device and has no support for MOPRIA (Android) or Airprint (iOS).
It does work with Xerox Mobile Print (Which is what this forum section is supporting), but the entire setup would be done via the software you have running on the Server (Xerox Mobile Print), but that has a cost.
Then there is the WPSA-100, which is again, at a cost.
For Android, the workaround option (not really simple) is to install the printer as a Google Cloud Print "classic printer" and share it out to the associated gmail accounts of the users on their devices.
Hi,
i have a Xerox workcentre 6015ni connected as a network printer with a Ethernet connection. Printing with pc or iMac works perfect. But I can not print with my iPad or android mobile devices. If I try to add the printer in the mobile link app, I get the error printer not found. But I can access the printer if I use a browser. The bonjour protocol seems to be actief if I chech the printer status.
what do I wrong?
kind regards
jef
