Hi guys can you please take a ;look at this image and tell me if the roller will be needing to change soon or if there's another issue?
We have a program which automatically checks several network folders for TIFF files. If any are found, the program copies them to another location then deletes them from the original location. We have created Scan to templates to save as TIFF files to these locations. These templates seem to work ok for a period of time but will then change file format to PDF, even though the template still indicates it will save as TIFF. The program searching these folders does not recognize PDF's so it appears the folder is empty. Any ideas why they would change to PDF and how to keep the setting at TIFF?

If it happens to more than one device, and those devices are different models, it near certainly is someone making changes. Or a particular workflow. For instance, the Connectkey firmwares that are 073.xxx.xxx.34540 all have an issue where if you select a template and scan in less than 2 seconds, the template settings may not correctly apply, it can use the default settings and not the actual template settings. But that was fixed in every firmware after that one specific one.
We were attempting to add some life to this old printer by installing a 64MB RAM chip into the expansion slots; the printer currently has 32MB of on board memory already. On power up the printer sounds as though it's going to complete the startup cycle, but the display stays blank. There is, however, a red blinking light near the USB port that continues to flash when the RAM module is installed. The new memory is 64MB EDO non-ECC 60ns 3.3v. Does anyone have any insight as to why this is failing?

It would appear that a RAM slot in my printer doesn't work. I moved the memory from the top slot down to the middle and the printer booted and works as expected. The light I have seen come on and flash appears to be labeled "Test", but I have not found any documentation regarding this light.
On our WC 7220, when you are in "Copy"-mode, "Book Copying" is an available option on the Layout Adjustments-tab.
But If I choose Email or Workflow scanning-mode, there is no similar option for scanning from a book? I've done this on a much older WorkCentre, so I'm wondering if there is a setting for enabling this?
I don't want to do "Book Copying" first, then scan the printed copies.

It isn't an option on Xerox devices, but it is on Fuji-Xerox devices.
Current Fuji-Xerox devices sold in North America would be all in the VersaLink family, and the C60-C70
The following is conjecture, not verified fact:
I'm pretty sure it is a legal thing, for example one North American student can but a textbook for a large amount of money and sell digital copies by scanning it.
Because of the markets they support, Fuji-Xerox doesn't have that particular worry.
Can anyone direct me to a user's manual for this product?
Thanks for any help in advance,

Is it possible to perform find/replace when setting metadata with the filename?

I took the drives out of my creo in order to back them up, but I now seem to have forgotton where to plug the three sata cords back in. I plugged the three wires into the three spots circled and it seems to work fine, but I'm fairly confident that is not where they were originally plugged in. Does it matter? Please notice that one of the drives was marked system. Thanks for any help in advance!
(The way they are actually plugged in is the way I THINK they were plugged in originally, but not all three drives are recognized when I plug in that way.)

I have Xerox Versalink C7020. It was working fine but one day after power on it stopped working and I am getting following error on screen
1. Power off the device
2. Wait for all control panel lights to go out
3. Power on the device
If the problem persists, refer to online knowledge base, or contact you system administrator
Fault or Error 116-330
I following the above procedure but device is getting stuck on above error message.
HI I'm just an single user on my own wireless network and Xerox seem to make setting up scanning to a folder on my PC the most difficult task on this planet. I have searched these forums and have found the ip address / host name of my PC. I have set up a shared folder with the correct permissions with my login name for my PC but when I try to add an SMB contact to the address book the password fields are not there and when i try to scan i get error 1-005.

You have to actually connect via HTTPs, but because you left HTTP enabled on port 80, you likely haven't, so it isn't there.
Specify HTTP or update the firmware (Due to demand, they added the option back in later firmware)
To specify https simply add it to the address in the addressbar via https://192.168.1.100 (clearly you would need to use your printer IP)
To update the firmware just grab it here
